On Tuesday the 10th November, NorthInvest held it’s inaugural official dinner in the presence of key northern representatives from the technology and investing sectors: Dr Adam Beaumont, aql CEO and founder, James Bedford, Head of Investment Strategy of Co-Founders Tech North, Byron Woodmansee, Co-Founder at JustInvesting, Jenny Tooth, Chief Executive at UK Business Angels Association, Tom Bridges, Chief Officer Economy and Regeneration at Leeds City Council, Graham Pearce, Director at KPMG Corporate Finance, Timothy Mills, Investment Director at British Business Bank, Rachel Hannan, entrepreneurial Business Director and investor, Chris Zanetti, Chairman of the BIO-D Company, Peter Bryant, Partner at Steelhouse Ventures, Doug Stellman, Investment Director at Enterprise Ventures, Stephen Wilcock, Managing Director at Egton and Mark Fordyce, founder and Managing Director of York Data Services.
Dr Adam Beaumont said: “The NorthInvest platform aims to connect angel and institutional investors with business start-ups, ideas and opportunities. The NorthInvest platform was launched earlier this year, on the 24th of July at the Leeds Digital Summit.
