Through our key role as part of the northern investment ecosystem we can have a significant impact in supporting early stage, innovative businesses that address any of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It's essential to accelerate the pathway for founding building these ideas and we believe there is a strong role for profit-for-purpose in addressing these challenges.
How do we do it?
- Supporting the growth of the northern powerhouse economy
- Developing and promoting opportunities to increase diversity, especially gender balance, of founders and investors
- Facilitating capital investments in companies that have a positive impact, whilst aiming to make a financial return, and address any of the UN sustainable development goals
We welcome investment applications from founders who come from underrepresented communities.
